1st MRI - GOOD NEWS!

This will be short ....we're about to be on our way to see Santa at Tammy and Joey's house. The results of Angela's MRI yesterday were good. There were still no signs of the tumor. Thanks for your prayers! I'll post more later when I get a moment.

Hey Angela...Happy Friday evening!!!

You gave me the BEST birthday present ever!!! Thanks a million for calling me...It was absolutely wonderful to hear you on the other end!!!

This is one of my absolutely favorite songs...I know you still have a VERY long road to full recovery...but I know YOU will get there. So, as we all celebrate with you and David, I thought these words were just perfect...

"Blessed Be Your Name" by Tree 63

Blessed be Your name in the land that is plentiful
Where Your streams of abundance flow
Blessed be Your name
And blessed be Your name when I’m found in the desert
place
Though I walk through the wilderness
Blessed be your name

Every blessing You pour out I’ll turn back to praise
And when the darkness closes in Lord
Still I will say

Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name

Thanks again for blessing me today with a phone call. You made my day!!
Love and stormin heaven for you!!
Lowry

P.S. Here is another joke....
Q: What do you get if you deep fry Santa Claus?
A: Crisp Cringle.

Happy Saturday Angela,

I hope you have regained a little more strength today than you had yesterday....a little at a time....patience, Oh how hard it is sometimes to have!!

"My grace is sufficient for you, for in weakness power reaches perfection. 2 Corinthians 12:9

I hope you feel the grace he has given you today. He has made you perfect and will get you to where you need to be!!!

This evening, I pray that you feel his grace in every fiber of your being and that he will give you the patience to endure all the obstacles that may come your way.

Love and thinking of you!!!

It was so nice running into you again on Friday down by the river. The Nina was a pretty cool little boat to see wasn't it? You still look great and cheerful as always. Hope you and your family have a great Christmas. Still praying for you, "Aunt" Tricia

Hey Angela....I hope your Sunday is Super!!!!

Is your strength a little stronger than yesterday???? I sure hope so.

Just 2 more days till Christmas. I hope the excitement is filling your home with much anticipation by at least Alex!!!

This evening, I am filled with HOPE. Hope of the upcoming birth of our sweet Baby named Jesus and HOPE of all the miracles that he will bring!!! Oh Angela, I know tht all the suffering you have endured and continue to endure, that miracles are occurring!! I know without a doubt that you will be cured of this monster that is in your head...that is because I have HOPE!!!

O come, O come,Emmanuel............

As you hear this Christmas Carol fill the air, remember Angela that Emmanuel means God is with us....no matter how you are feeling...he is with you holding you up in the palm of his hand...

With much Love and HOPE,
Lowry

P.S. I heard this today..

Sally went to her brother and said, " I feel so bad for Jesus". Her brother replied, "Why?". She said, "well, Jesus was born on Christmas Day and he did not receive any birthday presents!!!".

Angela,
I know this has been very tough on you, but you now have to take this time to let your body rest and heal. You need to forgot about the things you are not able to do, and be thankful for the things you are able to do. Don't ever forget the power of prayer and all your loving friends. Have a Merry Christmas, Love Jackie.

The angels are rejoicing with you. Many have prayed for this miracle on your behalf and have trusted God to perform. Though this is but a small step on a long road, God has determined your path. He will lead you and carry you when you have trouble. Rest in him now that you can finally relax a bit and enjoy this Christmas with a new alertness of the gift of His birth. He came for you and for me so that in times like this we could fully rely on Him. I am thrilled for you and your family and continue to pray for you all as do those in our church who only know you as one of their sisters in Christ. It never ceases to amaze me that God can network together a maze of people for one purpose and that is to glorify him. Lifting you up in Alabama.

Merry Christmas!!!

I hope you are having a beautiful Christmas Eve and that the crew is filled with excitement and anticipation!!!

We all have difficult days and today was awful for our household. Our beloved 14 y.o. golden retriever died this morning. We are all terribly sad.

Saying that, we are all excited and hopeful for the upcoming celebration of the birth of Jesus!!! How awesome is that gift???

O come, O come, Emmanuel............

Love and Hopeful this Christmas Eve,
Lowry

Hey Angela,

Hope all is well. Went to Nashville yesterday so I could not post...however, you were prayed for and spoke of you as often as I could!!

Be on your guard ; stand firm in the faith;...be strong. 1 Corinthians 16:13

I am hoping that the effects of the radiation is becoming minimal and that your strength is coming back little by little. I so hope that by the time you have to travel again that you are stronger. Just think about the last time you were planning a trip to Duke...How far you have come...How much you have had to endure both mentally and physically...YOU DID IT ALL!!! You should be sooo proud!!!

Have a wonderful Thursday Evening.

Lots of Love and tons of HOPE,
Lowry

Just wanted to say HI...enjoy the day!!!

Love ya,

Hope your Friday went alright!! I am wondering how the swelling is doing???? I hope that has all resolved itself without any additional meds!!!

I found this verse and thought about it...
"Patience produces character, and character produces hope. And this hope will never disappear." Romans 5: 4-5

As you are patiently awaiting to go to Duke, as you are patiently awaiting for the use of your left side to come again, as you are patiently awaiting for further treatments, know it is not in vain...you are building character!!!!!!

When are you leaving again?? I know you return on the BIG GAME DAY!!! Let me know if yall have any tickets!!!

Love and stormin' heaven for you as you "wait"....
Lowry

P.S.Here is a joke for the day...
I went to the store the other day. I was only in there for about five minutes, and when I came out there was a motorcycle cop writing a parking ticket. So I went up to him and said, 'Come on buddy, how about giving a guy a break?'

He ignored me and continued writing the ticket. So I called him a stupid idiot. He glared at me and started writing another ticket for having bald tires!

Then I really got angry at him. He finished the second ticket and put it on the car with the first. Then he started writing a third ticket!

This went on for about 20 minutes. The more I abused him, the more tickets he wrote. I didn't care. My car was parked around the corner.
