It has been quite sometime since Angela has felt like putting on something other than cute atheletic outfits and going somewhere. Yesterday evening she put on a fashionable pair of jeans and got all "dolled up". If I have to say so myself she looked rather stunning. Life almost seemed "normal". We met some friends at one of our old haunts, CC's Coffee House on Perkins; and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. As the coffee chatter grew to a close, Angela and I decided to end the night at another one of our pre-kid hangouts, George's on Perkins. We shared a delicious plate of thin cut catfish and a large order of onion rings. No calorie counting! It was a wonderful night.
Angela seems to be feeling better. Her motor skills have improved and mentally she seems to be in a better place. She is scheduled for another round of chemo on Wednesday.

Remember, Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase.
P.S. I don't know if you knew thatI'm good friends with Frank and Jean Edwards.(JJ's brother & sister-in-law)Their son and my son are best of buddies for a while now.
I'm waiting on my plane now (I was actually at the airport early for once) and will see you this evening. I love this post and am glad y'all had a great Sunday outing but I am very bummed that I wasn't there with y'all.

Angela,
I wanted you to know how much Joey & I enjoyed Sunday. Hanging out at CC's....well, it felt like old times!!!!! David was right ~ you looked incredible!!! It was a great visit (as always) and I wanted to thank you for including us. Let's do it again soon.
I want you to know how proud I am of you. I have seen you in your weakest moments and your highest and the one thing that is always present is your faith in God. Don't ever give up on your faith. That is what shall get you through this. HE will NEVER leave you. Remeber one thing ~ The will of God will never take you where the
Grace of God will not protect you.
Okay, so I'll see you tonight for your manicure. Tell the boys to get ready because Uncle Joe Joe is ready to play!!! That is, of course, after baby Kat gets her kisses.
I love you!!!!

Angela:
Glad to hear that your spirits have lifted and you are venturing out. We all need a little "me" and "us" (you and David) time, especially during the tough times. Stay strong together. Your love and God's love will get you through this trial.
Know God, Love him and trust him...he will provide.
May God Bless you and Keep you!
Love you,
Jill Gregoire Bergeron
P.S. If your next outing to OLD haunts includes Nick's in Plaquemine, call me first...I'll drive from Georgia for that!! LOL!
Good Morning,
So glad you had some "me" and "us" time! So important! We are so thankful for the "up" times and cherish each one. Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us. We are thankful for happy times and we are prayerful during the tough times.
Father,
Send many more happy times like Sunday. Send old friends and new ones, send many, many strengthening special moments. Give powerful strength to those chemo treatments and help them to "zap" the things that need to be "zapped".
In Your Precious Name I pray,
Aman
We love you all the way around the world, over the moon to outer space.
Debi
I come to your blog often and never know quite what to say. Just know I'm praying and thinking of you often. Wishing you "A Nice Evening" everyday!
Love,
Melissa Clouatre
Angela,
What fun that must have been. We are glad you and David got out for fried food! We miss Georges too - so it was good to hear the report.
Angela, I know that God has a full life in store for you, and I know that you have not finished yet. We are eager to see where He moves in your life next.
Continue to do the fun things, and keep us posted. It makes the distance seem not so far. It was also AMAZING to see that Jamel was at the airport EARLY. Was that a fact? Does anyone have proof?
love you! xxoo

It is in our battles that God is so evident. The enemy would have you focus on the struggles and trials you are facing rather than focusing on this amazing life that you share with this amazing man who loves you so deeply. Trust him to comfort you and take as many opportunities as you can to enjoy this life you have. God will take care of your needs through the trials of life. Though difficult it will be, the victory is on the horizon for this battle. Let God fight for you and rest in his sweet arms. Feels his love for you and allow yourself to see that he has surrounded you with so much love and support. God bless you and your family and remember there are people all over the country praying for your healing.
Celebrate Him every day! Rejoice, again He says Rejoice!
Lifting you up still in Alabama
Hey Angela!!!
Hope your Tuesday was terrific!! It made my heart smile when I read David's post!! I was thrilled that you were feeling good enough to get out for awhile!!! I hope that is a great sign for more good things to come!! YOU GO GIRL!!
Love, peace and HOPE,
Lowry
P.S.
On a special teacher's day, a kindergarten teacher was receiving gifts from her pupils. The florist's son handed her a gift. She shooked it, held it over her head, and said, "I bet I know what it is - flowers!"
"That's right!" said the boy, "but how did you know?"
"Just a wild guess," she said.
The next pupil was the candy store owner's daughter. The teacher held her gift overhead, shooked it, and said, "I bet I can guess what it is - a box of candy!"
"That's right! But how did you know?" asked the girl.
"Just a lucky guess," said the teacher.
The next gift was from the liquor store owner's son. The teacher held the bag over her head and noticed that it was leaking. She touched a drop of the leakage with her finger and tasted it. "Is it wine?" she asked.
"No," the boy replied.
The teacher repeated the process, touching another drop of the leakage to her tongue. "Is it champagne?" she asked.
"No," the boy replied.
The teacher then said, "I give up, what is it?"
The boy replied, "A puppy!"
Hi Angela,
A voice from your past here, Melinda Walsh, glad to see you've been out and about! Just wanted you to know there is someone else sending prayers and good wishes to you and David.
Melinda
Sending lots or prayers your way today. Praying for those three precious children to give you lots of hugs and kisses for all of us!
Love you much!
Debi
Angela and David, My heart goes out to you both, and the children. You are in my thoughts and prayers daily. I was very glad to hear about your blog (I work with Teri Bergeron, she told me about it), I think its wonderful that everyone can send love and support your way. I was great when I ran into you at Walmart a few months ago and you told me about your newest addition to your family, your beautiful little girl. I am so happy to see that you and David are still as obviously in love today, as when I knew you in the past. My family is praying for yours, sending good thoughts and wishes your way............
