Angela was able to make it to the engagement party for Tiffany & Joey last Saturday and greatly enjoyed it. She was not feeling very well earlier that evening, but was absolutely determined to be there! It was a beautiful evening and a great party. Angela perked up once she arrived and enjoyed talking to everyone at the party. She enjoyed the fathers', Sebastion and Lionel's toasts to the engaged couple, which were the perfect balance of humor and sentiment.
Nausea subsided for Monday and Tuesday of this week, so Angela has enjoyed time with David and the children at home.
Alex, Christian, and Katherine are all doing well and have been enjoying playing outside some evenings when it is cool and clear. They are preparing for Easter and Angela has stocked up on eggs and all the supplies for egg dyeing. David is still doing a terrific job juggling many roles.
Angela and David are both amazing in that throughout this whole ordeal, they still at many times display their unique brand of humor that makes it a pleasure to be with them.
This afternoon she is receiving her sixth intravenous chemotherapy treatment. Hopefully, it will do its job without jolting her system too severely. Her next visit to Duke in North Carolina is scheduled for Monday, March 31. Keep praying and we'll keep you posted.

Happy Pre Easter
Hope that chemo does not wipe you out too badly this week...but continues to do its job. I know how much fun you will have dyeing eggs, I have been told to get "many eggs" for our house. We,like so many others pray for you both every day,
Honie
Happy Easter to you and your family ... my prayer is that you have "renewed life and spirit" just as we have with each Spring and the risen Christ! God Bless You, Diane Dubroc
It was great to see y'all @ the Easter Egg Hunt at church on Sunday. Still praying for your family.

Happy Easter Angela, David and of course the three little ones. I am sure they are very excited about the Easter Bunny. At least down there you have decent weather, our grandkids will have to look under about six feet of snow to find their eggs. It is snowing as I write this note. Hayden (5) is hoping the bunny has a good winter coat and boots. He seems quite concerned about his health. Speaking of health, hope everything is on the "up hill". All the treatments must be very hard on your Angela, but it seems that you just keep going (similiar to the ever ready bunny!!). We are very proud of you both, it is a lot to handle for you both for an extended period of time. Keep up the good work. Happy Easter!!! and good luck going to Duke!!! Prayers always from the Canadians.
(please pray for our snow to melt) Lots of positive thoughts!!!
Gord & Donna.

P.S.
Bill, Jim, and Scott were at a convention together and were
sharing a large suite on the top of a 75 story sky scraper.
After a long day of meetings they were shocked to hear that the
elevators in their hotel were broken and they would have to climb
75 flights of stairs to get to their room. Bill said to Jim and
Scott, let's break the monotony of this unpleasant task by
concentrating on something interesting. I'll tell jokes for 25
flights, and Jim can sing songs for 25 flights, and Scott can
tell sad stories the rest of the way. At the 26th floor Bill
stopped telling jokes and Jim began to sing. At the 51st floor
Jim stopped singing and Scott began to tell sad stories. "I will
tell my saddest story first," he said. "I left the room key in
the car!"
Happy Wednesday!!
Hope you are enjoying this Wed. with NO treatments!!! I pray that you are feeling strong and enjoying taking care of your family!!
Praying for ya!!
Love, peace and HOPE,
Lowry
P.S,
A young couple had been arguing about what new vehicle they would buy. He wanted a big truck, but she wanted a sports car.
After about an hour the woman had to leave, and said, "look, all I want is something that goes from 0 to 200 in less than four seconds. My birthday is coming up next week, buy something that will surprise me!"
A week later she opened her present, a new set of bathroom scales!
Hey Angela,
Hope you had a great day today. I hope you can feel that Spring is in the air....I am praying for peace and grace as you prepare for your Duke trip.
Love, peace and HOPE,
Lowry
We hope the visit to Duke brings lots of good news for you, and that the trip is not too tiring. We've been reading the posts to keep up with all of your news. Thanks to all of the bloggers. Love, Janelle and Bobby
Hey Angela,
I am praying for a safe trip to Duke. I am also praying that your ears only hear good news and you leave with a good plan to get you to that finish line!!!!!
This road is long, the cross is heavy but your cheerleaders from across this country are holding you up in prayer!!!
Love, peace and HOPE...and safe travels..
Lowry
P.S.One Sunday in a Midwest city, a young child was "acting up" during
the morning worship hour. The parents did their best to maintain
some sense of order in the pew but were losing the battle. Finally the
father picked the little fellow up and walked sternly up the aisle
on his way out. Just before reaching the safety of the foyer, the
little one called loudly to the congregation, "Pray for me! Pray for
me!"
Hope you all had a wonderful and blessed Easter. We are thinking about you and praying for more good news on your trip to Duke.
Love,
Charlotte
