It is 11:00 am Saturday morning and Angela is still in bed battling nausea from Wednesday's chemo infusion. The nausea is beginning to take its toll on her spirits. Again your prayers and well wishes have meant so much to her.
On the positive side of things, last night Katherine actually said "night night mama". Considering Katherine doesn't talk yet it really lifted her spirits.
Life is still rather hectic. The doctors appointments have slowed down, but my role as Mr. Mom continues at "full throttle". Thanks for your prayers for me as well. Please pray that God will grant me patience. I seem to be in short supply of it these days. Thanks.
David

So sorry for the prolonged nausea.
Our Father, I ask at this moment for relief of Angela's nausea and Lord, I lift up David and ask for strength and energy from you. Help his tired body to have the stamina it needs to continue the task.
Lord, I ask for a good night's sleep for all.
In Your Precious Name, I pray,
Debi
Y'all are heavy on my heart. Please know that I am truly praying for you and your family.

David and Angela, I am not sure if you remember me or not, but you should...
I am Kevin Hodges, (tammy's ex-boyfriend) the electrican that wired your house correctly...I am sorry to hear of Angela's cancer. I have been praying for ya'lls family since I have heard the news. Although, I am sure Angela will pull thru it, with her wonderful zest for life that she has.
Next time I am in B.R., I will try and stop in to see you two and meet ya'lls children.

Happy Monday Angela,
Sorry to hear that the chemo has kicked your butt again!!! Darn that stuff!!! I hope it gives you just a little comfort to know that even though you feel like c**p, it is not all in vain this time....the stuff is actually working!!!
To David...Patience...First of all, it is so hard to come by with 3 young children and everyone healthy...but now add all the extra stress your family has been enduring since early September...
Knowing that many people around this country are not only praying for Angela but the entire family. Here are the lyrics from a song by Casting Crowns...
Lifesong
"Lifesong"
Empty hands held high
Such small sacrifice
If not joined with my life
I sing in vain tonight
May the words I say
And the things I do
Make my lifesong sing
Bring a smile to You
Let my lifesong sing to You
Let my lifesong sing to You
I want to sign Your name to the end of this day
Knowing that my heart was true
Let my lifesong sing to You
Lord I give my life
A living sacrifice
To reach a world in need
To be Your hands and feet
So may the words I say
And the things I do
Make my lifesong sing
Bring a smile to You
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Let my lifesong sing to You
***I hope that when you don't think you it is just too much....HE is holding you up to carry you through....
Love, peace and HOPE for a peaceful evening and a renewal of strength and patience,
Lowry
P.S.
While working for an organization that delivers lunches to elderly shut-ins, I used to take my four-year-old daughter on my afternoon rounds.
She was unfailingly intrigued by the various appliances of old age, particularly the canes, walkers and wheelchairs.
One day I found her staring at a pair of false teeth soaking in a glass. As I braced myself for the inevitable barrage of questions, she merely turned and whispered, "The tooth fairy will never believe this
David, My prayer for you, Angela, and your family is recored below. I am praying this for you as I type it and will continue to pray for you until your wife is healed of this thing.
My heart aches for what you must be going through. Lean on the One who is in control and know that he is Jehovah Jireh, your provider, Jehovah Rophe, your healer. He will provide all your needs if you just ask. Believe it in your heart and he will show himself true. He has done more for my family than we deserve and certainly more that we thought possible.
Father, bless this man and grant him the patience he needs to cope with the difficulties and also to be a loving father to his children. Let him take your yoke because you say it is easy. Be his strongtower and his warrior in this fight. Lord please lay your hand on Angela and relieve her feelings of illness. Give her strength and peace that you alone can provide. Surround them with your loving kindness; make your presence in their home and lives palpable. May your sweet spirit envelope them and comfort them in the struggles of everyday life and the weight of their situation. You Lord are the divine healer, the great physician. Heal Angela in spirit and body. Your word says that where two or more are gathered together there you will be also. Ask and it will be given to you. Call on me in your time of trouble. All of these things Lord you say in your word. I am calling on your promises for this family, that they might be knit more closely together and fight the good fight with you by their side. May the peace that surpasses all understanding be their comfort.
In the matchless name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
AMEN and AMEN!!
Please know that there are so many praying for you in my Sunday School class and that they keep up with you on this website. Folks that only know you by the kinship of Jesus Christ are praying fervently for you. Be comforted.
Sincerly,
Pam
David and Angela:
All I can say is you two are amazing. I am so sorry that you are feeling sick Angela. I pray for your nausea to subside and that you can again enjoy your days more fully with your family.
David, pray for GRACE. I recently had custody of my 4 neices and nephews, along with my 2 children, I was raising 6 kids betweent he ages of 10 and 16. I was also very, very short on patience. I prayed for GRACE...alot, and it came. I feel that it truly got me through some really tough times. I know my situation was not the same as yours, but it did "restoreth my soul"...and my sanity. A calm would come over me, so I pray for GRACE for you and Angela for the battles and challenges big and small that you both face daily.
Grace and peace today, tomorrow and always.

A little girl goes to see the doctor. She's got a pea in one nostril, a grape in the other, and a string bean stuck in her ear. She says to the doctor, "I don't feel good."
The doctor replies, "The problem is clear to me. You're not eating right!"
Angela,
I've been thinking about you today. Hope you're feeling better and are able to spend some time outside in the beautiful sunshine.

A Sunday school teacher asked her class, "What was Jesus' mother's name?"
One child answered, "Mary."
The teacher then asked, "Who knows what Jesus' father's name was?"
A little kid said, "Verge."
Confused, the teacher asked, "Where did you get that?"
The kid said, "Well, you know they are always talking about Verge n' Mary.
Happy Saturday,
Hope all is well. I hope you get out and enjoy Palm Sunday tomorrow. We went to Mass this evening and I thought, I wish Angela was here to hear his message. He spoke of suffering and how we always ask the "why's" when something happens to us..
Praying and thinking of you as always....I pray that you wake in the morning with renewed strength and stronger than ever.
Good Night,
Love, peace and HOPE,
Lowry
Hey Angela,
On this beautiful Palm Sunday, we remember the suffering that Jesus endured for us. I know that you have endured your own suffering these past six months. I pray that as time is passing, that your suffering becomes less and less and that you receive the Christmas miracle you so desperately want.
As you go through Holy Week in anticipation of Easter Sunday, I pray you feel the love of God and everyone around this country praying for you!!!
Below is a song I heard today by the band Pillar. I thought of you of course as well as myself. I do believe that songs are prayers and I wanted to share this with you. When you begin feeling yucky with your treatment on Wednesday, I hope these words will bring you comfort
"Smiling Down"
You make it so hard on yourself
But theres nobody else
That could ever understand
The feelings that you felt
I could hear you think about
All the time I was around
If you could only see me now
I'm right here looking down
So next time that you feel like crying
Next time you don't feel like trying
Just remember I'll be right there
Smiling down on you
In the morning you don't feel like rising
Next time you feel like compromising
Just remember I'll be right there
Smiling down on you
I know you won't forget
All the time we got to spend
Just because it's been a while
Doesn't mean that its the end
So right here and now
I'll swear you a vow
That I will always be with you
Whenever you feel down
Nothing ever will come between us
Now I'm holding on to the hand of Jesus
So next time that you feel like crying
Next time you don't feel like trying
Just remember I'll be right there
Smiling down on you
In the morning you don't feel like rising
Next time you feel like compromising
Just remember I'll be right there
Smiling down on you
I'll be right there looking down
Even when the shine don't shine
I'll be right there looking down
All along the winter night
I'll be right there looking down
With a smile on me face
I'll be right there with my arms open wide
Right here on Jesus' side
So next time that you feel like crying
Next time you don't feel like trying
Just remember I'll be right there
Smiling down on you
In the morning you don't feel like rising
Next time you feel like compromising
Just remember I'll be right there
Smiling down on you
So next time that you feel like crying
Next time you don't feel like trying
Just remember I'll be right there
Smiling down on you
In the morning you don't feel like rising
Next time you feel like compromising
Just remember I'll be right there
Smiling down on you

P.S.
Two Irishmen, Patrick & Michael, were adrift in a lifeboat following a dramatic escape from a burning freighter. While rummaging through the boat's provisions, Patrick stumbled across an old lamp. Secretly hoping that a genie would appear, he rubbed the lamp vigorously To the amazement of Patrick, a genie came forth. This particular genie, however, stated that he could only deliver one wish, not the standard three. Without giving much thought to the matter, Patrick blurted out, "Make the entire ocean into Guinness Beer!" The genie clapped his hands with a deafening crash, and immediately the entire sea turned into the finest brew ever sampled by mortals. Simultaneously, the genie vanished. Only the gentle lapping of Guinness on the hull broke the stillness as the two men considered their circumstances. Michael looked disgustedly at Patrick whose wish had been granted. After a long, tension-filled moment, he spoke: "Nice going Patrick! Now we're going to have to pee in the boat!
Angela, I am so glad to have spoken to you Sat.night. I think of you every day, and we pray for you,David, and the kids daily. I hope your evening turned out nice and you were able to enjoy your outing. I miss you and look forward to visiting soon. Love, Diane B.
Hey Angela,
Sending you lots of warm wishes and hope you are enjoying your day!! I bet your babies (at least Alex and Christian) are getting excited about Easter Sunday.

P.S. Getting you ready for that Easter candy....
A nice box of chocolates can provide your total daily intake of calories in one place. Isn't that handy?
Happy Wednesday Angela,
Wishing you a wonderful treatment day. I continue to pray that the nasty chemo gets the job done!! I hope your body is adjusting to it somewhat and it does not kick your butt as much!!!
