On the not so good side of things, we had an auto accident on Easter Sunday. Angela was still nauseous from chemo and did not make it to church. After the kids and I returned from church, we all loaded up in the Expedition and headed for my sister's. Before we could cross the bridge we had to turn back around to bring Angela home. She was just too nauseous. The kids and I went on to Diane's house for the day. We had a great day. The kids hunted Easter eggs and played with their cousins. We left Aunt Diane's around 6 pm and no more than a mile down the road a car pulled in front of us to turn into a driveway. I had no choice but veer slightly to the right. We hit the front end of the girls car and it sent us into a deep ditch about 8 feet off the road. I called to let Angela know we had had a fender bender and that everyone was OK. Needless to say she was a little surprised when she saw the pictures when we got home. Everyone including the five other people in the Saturn were OK. The driver of the Saturn was given a citation for failure to yield to on coming traffic.

Here are a few picks from a family photo shoot we did at our house this past Thursday. Thanks to Jarrod who did a wonderful job. Here's your plug http://www.jarrodsw.com/.
Angela insisted we include a picture of the dog. My apologies for wasting your time. Time to catch the plane. This is the kind of update you get when Angela and I have too much free time on our hands.
God Bless,
David & Angela

I forgot to mention...How so thankful I am that I did not receive a phone call from John Michael today....not that I don't like talking to him but I knew that if I did not hear from him, the report was going to be good news. Angela,
I want you to know that I have prayed ernestly and diligently for you over the last couple of days, knowing that you were headed to Duke. I found this verse and thought it very fitting for your situation. Please know that God is always in control. Trust Him!
On a more personal note, for anything I have done to offend you in the past I am deeply and sincerely sorry.
Sincerely and in Christ,
Pam
Is 58:8 Amplified Bible
8Then shall your light break forth like the morning, and your healing (your restoration and the power of a new life) shall spring forth speedily; your righteousness (your rightness, your justice, and your right relationship with God) shall go before you [conducting you to peace and prosperity], and the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.(A)
Hey Angela..
Hope you are safe and sound back in P.A.!!!! I am just so thrilled about all the good news you have been receiving lately. This one song came to my mind....I am in awe of the healing that is taking place in your body!!!
And I stand in awe of you... Jesus
Yes I stand in awe of you
You are God in Heaven
And here am I on earth
So I'll let my words be few
Jesus I am so in love with you
Chorus:
And I'll stand in awe of you
Yes I'll stand in awe of you
And I'll let my words be few
Jesus I am so in love with you
The simplest of all love songs
I want to bring to you
And so I'll let my words be few
Cuz Jesus I am so in love with you
And I'll stand in awe of you, Jesus
Yes I'll stand in awe of you
And I'll let my words be few
Jesus I am so in love
And I'll stand in awe of you, Jesus.
Yes I'll stand in awe of you
And I'll let my words be few
I am so in love with you
So in love... in love with you
In love with you... Jesus

A mother was teaching her three year old daughter The Lord's Prayer. For several evenings at bedtime, she repeated it after her mother. One night she said she was ready to solo. The mother listened with pride, as she carefully said each word right up to the end..."And lead us not into temptation", she prayed, "but deliver us some e-mail, Amen."
We're thrilled with your great news. And we'll keep praying for more good news. We love seeing all of the pictures! You all look great, especially Angela. Put a brick on those kids' heads; they're growing too fast! :-) Love, Janelle
Happy Wednesday Angela,
I am assuming it was a treatment day!!! I hope your body is getting a bit use to it and it is not kicking your butt yet!! And if it does kick your butt, that it won't last too long so that you can get back to taking care of your babies!!
I just want to let you know that when I came to your site and saw that new photo/title at the top, it was BREATHTAKING!!! It stopped me in my tracks!!! It is absolutely beautiful....great job to whomever put it there!!!
Wishing you a peaceful evening,
Love, peace and HOPE,

What did Mars say to Saturn?
A: Give me a ring sometime.
What wonderful pictures of a wonderful family. Keep the faith and keep fighting the good fight. Inch by inch, step by step, progress is being made. Miracles can happen in small incriments.

Hey,
Wishing you a great Thursday evening!!! I just love looking at that picture at the top of your webpage...also all the other ones!! They bring a smile to my face...
Stay focused and keep putting one foot in front of the other...this marathon that you never signed up to run will be over soon...at least you are headed in the right direction.

P.S. Here is something all of us girls can relate..
One day, I was in the bathroom and noticed one of the cabinet doors was ajar. I read the box in the cabinet. I then asked my mother why she was keeping 'napkins' in the bathroom. Didn't they belong in the kitchen?
Not wanting to burden me with unnecessary facts, she told me that those were for "special occasions".
Now fast-forward a few months.....It's Thanksgiving Day, and my folks are leaving to pick up the pastor and his wife for dinner. Mom had assignments for all of us while they were gone. Mine was to set the table. When they returned, the pastor came in first and immediately burst into laughter. Next came his wife who gasped, then began giggling. Next came my father, who roared with laughter.
Then came Mom, who almost died of embarrassment when she saw each place setting on the table with a "special occasion" napkin at each plate, with the fork carefully arranged on top. I had even tucked the little tail in so they didn't hang off the edge!!??
My mother asked me why I used these and, of course, my response sent the other adults into further fits of laughter.
"Mom, you SAID they were for special occasions!"
Happy Monday Angela!!!
Hope you had a great weekend!! Too bad about those Lady Tigers...maybe next year!!! I stayed up and watched the entire game!!!
So, I am thinking this is your off week and if so, I hope your body is recovering by now so that you can get out and about!!
Thinking about you and still stormin' heaven for you!!! I will pray and think of you without ceasing until your body rids this beast!!!
Love, peace and HOPE,
Lowry
P.S.
Q: Why did the pony cough?
A: He was a little hoarse!
I love the pictures! They're awesome! The kids are growing so fast. And Angela, you look fabulous! And congrats on the good news. Keep up the faith and the fight. Love you all!
Tammy Riviere
Happy Wednesday Angela!!!
I hope this is the "off" week for you!!! The weather is getting nice and I hope you are feeling up to playing in the yard with your babies!!!
May the Lord Jesus Christ be with you, that He may defend you, within you that He may sustain you, before you that He may lead you, behind you that He may protect you and above you that He may bless you. (Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help)

P.S.
An elderly couple is beginning to notice that neither of them seem to be able to remember things as well as they used to. So, they go to see their doctor, who explains that there is nothing really wrong with, just typical memory loss associated with old age. He suggests that they each get notebooks and write notes to themselves to help remember things. The couple goes home and that evening while watching T.V. the man gets up and heads for the kitchen. His wife asks if he can bring her some ice cream when he returns. He says he will, and she says he should write it down. "I’m just going to the kitchen, I'll remember." "Well, I want that with nuts, too." "O.K. he says ice cream with nuts." She asks again if he's going to write it down. "No, I'm just going to the kitchen." "And a Cherry on the top?" He agrees and turns toward the kitchen again and she asks again about writing it down. Now the old man is angry, "Look, old lady I'm not senile, I can remember ice cream with nuts and a cherry on top." He goes in the kitchen for 10 minutes and when he returns he sets a plate of bacon and eggs in front of his wife. She looks up and says, "Honey, you forgot my toast."
Happy Thursday Angela,
Found this written by Mother Theresa...
I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish that He didn't trust me so much.
Love, peace, HOPE and Trust,
Lowry
WhooHoo!
We have been celebrating in your great news, and just not had a minute to write you.
We are so happy and continue to keep Miss Angela in our daily prayers. Jacques is still asking when he can come back and play with you!
Go Girl Go!

One more thing...
In reference to Lowry’s Mother Theresa quote... it reminded me of a time in my life when things were especially hard. A friend told me “Just remember that God does not give you more than you can handle”... and I replied “Well, he obviously has me confused with someone else!”
xxoo

good Saturday to you,

With the start of a brand new week, I pray that your strength and your patience is renewed. I pray that the chemo is continuing to kill that nasty beast!!!

Through the calm and through the storm

A woman and man get into a car accident. Both of their cars are totally demolished, but amazingly neither of them is hurt.
After they crawl out of the wreckage, the woman says, "Wow, look at our cars - there's nothing left! Thank God we are all right. This must be a sign from Him that we should be friends and not try to pin the blame on each other."
The man replies, "Oh yes, I agree with you completely."
The woman points to a bottle on the ground and says, "And here's another miracle. Somehow this bottle of Scotch from my back seat didn't break. Surely God wants us to drink this Scotch and celebrate our good fortune."
Then she hands the bottle to the man. The man nods his head in agreement, opens it, and chugs about a third of the bottle to calm his nerves. He then hands it back to the woman. The woman takes the bottle, immediately puts the cap back on, and hands it back to the man.
The man asks, "Aren't you having any?"
The woman replies, "No. I think I'll just wait for the police..."
It's Monday...a dreary day here so I thought I would open with a joke...
A couple were going out for the evening. They'd got ready, all dolled up, cat put out, etc.
The taxi arrives, and as the couple got out, the cat shoots back in. They don't want the cat shut in the house, so the wife goes out to the taxi while the husband goes upstairs to chase the cat out.
The wife, not wanting it known that the house will be empty explains to the taxi driver "He's just going upstairs to say goodbye to my mother."
A few minutes later, the husband gets into the cab -"Sorry I took so long" he says, "Stupid old thing was hiding under the bed and I had to poke her with a coat hanger to get her to come out!"
So, I hope you are feeling alright today!!! I am thinking this is an off week but I might totally be off. Still stormin heaven for you as well as everyone else that knows the cross you are carrying...
In all your ways acknowledge him, and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:6

Happy Tuesday Angela,
Are you preparing for a treatment tomorrow??? If so, I hope you get to watch a good movie and that you are tolerating the chemo better.
I found this joke and I think it is the funniest one yet...hope it gets a giggle out of you.
Still stormin heaven for you...
Love, peace and HOPE,
Lowry
The baby was coming way too fast so the paramedics were called. To make it worse, when they arrived, there was a power outage. The paramedics asked the four year old sister to hold the flashlight for them.
Despite the difficulties, all went well and the mother delivered a baby boy. The paramedic smacked him on the behind and he began to cry.
Looking over at the wide eyed little girl, the paramedic asked her what she thought about what she had just witnessed. She said, "That naughty boy should have never crawled in there. Spank him again!"
We are so happy for the great news! I hope you have been tolerating your treatments well. The pictures are beautiful ... thank you for posting them. There was alot of information in that last post! I know why Angela wanted a picture of the dog and understand why you are jealous, David. It's the same at our house with Mellie: mom first, the cat, then dad.
You have come so far Angela! We pray that God continues to bless you with the physical and mental strength you need to tolerate the treatments.
Love,
Charlotte
(Did somebody say Godfather's Pizza?)
Happy Beautiful Wednesday,
I hope you feel the warmth of the beautiful sun in P.A.!!!
Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit. (Psalm 147:5)
With his power, you are going to continue to rid the beast out of your body!!!

P.S.
A little boy watched, fascinated, as his mother covered her face in cold cream. "Why do you do that?" he asked.
"To make myself beautiful."
When she began to rub it off, the boy asked, "Why are you doing that? Did you give up?"
