They Got It Right!!!!!!!!!

While I don't have specifics, I can tell all of you that Angela's appointment went great today. Dr. Stagg did confirm that the tumor has shrunk. He told Angela that he was very pleased with the MRI and that if he is happy, she should be happy. She had her routine blood work done today and everything came back great on that. Then it was off to her chemo treatment. I talked to her while she was taking her treatment and she sounded just great. While she tries not to get her hopes too high, she is very thankful of her progress thus far. She will continue on her same schedule for chemo (every other week) and will have another MRI in 6 weeks. Between that time, she is scheduled for another visit to Duke.

Sorry I don't have more specifics but I wanted all of you to know that we are all witnessing a miracle in progress. God is good indeed!!!!!

God bless you for all that you have done for Angela, David, Alex, Christian & Katherine.

Good Thursday Evening,

I hope you are not feeling too terribly bad after treatment yesterday!!! Just think, now when you feel like c***, you know that that junky chemo is really working...knowing that, I hope will make it a little easier!!!

Our Most Precious Father,

All praise and thanksgiving is given to you this day...your healing hand is ever present in Angela. I pray that her progress continues until that final day that she is totally healed and that beast is gone for good. Thank you for renewing her hope!!
Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia.

Love, Peace and HOPE,
Lowry

P.S.
Many years ago when I was a teen, I was assisting the Sunday school teacher in class. One Sunday, as we approached the Lenten season , the teacher asked the group of 1st graders if any one of them knew what Lent was. One of the little girls holding her hand high and proud stated that she knew what Lent was. The little girl explained that "Lent" was the little things that her mom picked off the clothes when they came out of the dryer.

P.S.
I teach preschool, 2 year olds. When I was Pregnant with my 3rd child, I saw no reason to tell my class because they were so young. As the year was coming to an end, I grew quite large. One of my little darlings came up to me and said," Miss Ilene, your belly is getting very fat!" I asked this little boy if he'd like to know why, and he said yes. I told him I had a baby in my tummy. He walked away, saying nothing. The next day, this happy, never cry child pitched a fit when his mother tried to leave. She pulled him aside and they talked for a few minutes, and the little boy calmed down, and the mom was grinning from ear to ear. I asked what happened and she said, "Adam thought you might eat him, you've already eaten a baby."
