TREATMENT WEEK

Angela had a chemo treatment yesterday and I am happy to say that she is feeling well today. Her doctor gave her a new nausea medication to try and it appears to be doing the job. I talked to her a few times today and I couldn't tell she had a treatment yesterday. Usually, I don't speak with her for a few days so imagine my surprise when she called me this morning. What a blessing!!!! This new medication has come at the right time. She and I just had the "I don't know how long I can do this. How long I can put up with feeling bad" talk. While she is not giving up, I am sure that all of you can only begin to imagine how it must feel to be sick for weeks at a time. I have thanked God all day for blessing her with such a wonderful day. All of our prayers are being answered so keep up the good work.

Angela, David and the kids have been enjoying the beautiful weather with many family outings. They have picked strawberries, been to museums and parks and visited friends. The boys are playing T-Ball this summer so they have been busy with practice and games. Angela has enjoyed going to watch them.

Sorry it has been so long without an update but always remember that no news is good news.

Angela, David, Alex, Christian & Katherine want to thank all of you for keeping them in your thoughts and prayers. God Bless all of you!

I sure hope you are still feeling great with the new medication!! That in itself is a miracle if it helps you overcome feeling terrible!! Count your blessings big or small and I think that would be counted has huge!!!

Someone at school today asked me how you were doing. I love to spread the good news!!! Keep up the good work and continuing in the right direction.

Your Christmas miracle is coming!!

A pirate had a wooden leg, a hook on one arm, and a patch over one eye. Someone asked him how these things happened. He said that a whale bit off his leg, a crocodile had chewed off his hand, and a bird dropping hit him in the eye. The other guy replied that he understood about the wooden leg having had his original bite off by a whale, and the hook was there to replace the hand the crocodile had chewed off, but a patch over the eye because of a bird dropping ... that he didn’t understand. The pirate said that when the bird dropping hit him in the eye, that was the first day he had had his hook.

If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all. Isaiah 7:9

Like we ALL do, you have probably have asked many questions and why's!!!!

Your cross is heavy and the path is long. Tonight I pray for your renewed strength and renewed faith to get you to that finish line.

Love, peace and HOPE,
Lowry

P.S.
On the first day of college, the Dean addressed the students, pointing out some of the rules.

"The female dormitory will be out-of-bounds for all male students, and the male dormitory to the female students. Anybody caught breaking this rule will be fined $25 the first time."

He continued, "Anybody caught breaking this rule the second time will be fined $50. Being caught a third time will incur a hefty fine of $100. Are there any questions?"

At this point, a male student in the crowd inquired: "How much for a season pass?"

Angela and David and little ones,
You are always in my daily thoughts and prayers. Angela, I had to smile the other day, I had a flashback of our job together at the adult day care center. Do you remember the black lady that was the activity director there? She was shopping in the pharmacy (Bolton's on Perkins Rd)where I work & kept staring at me. We finally figured it out. I explained to her that you were making good progress & she said to send her love & prayers. I would tell you her name , but as usual, I am having a MAJOR brain fart!

Well, love ya, girl!
Mina

School's almost out & I hope to buzz on over to tell you a quick hello!! If you like eating anything in particular, would you let me know?? :-) I just hope that you feel like eating!! :-) Love,Mina
