Busy Weekend

Friday night David slept at home with the kids while Angela and I had a "girls night". As you can imagine, David was thrilled to be able to go home and spend some time with those precious little angels. I must admit that I was just as happy to spend time with my precious friend.
This weekend was a busy one but fun filled for the kids. It consisted of playing at the park with their Daddy, attending a Mardi Gras Parade (which they watched twice) and going to a play that was put on at a local high school (Wizard of Oz).
Tonight Angela was resting peacefully and continues to be pain free. The nurses and staff that take care of her are wonderful people. The Carpenter House has been a blessing for Angela and David.
Please continue to pray for Angela, David, Alex, Christian, and Katherine. Your prayers have gotten them this far and they will need you in order to continue this journey.

God bless all of you,
tammy

Good Morning David, Angela and Faithful Friends,

Isaiah 40:31
"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run,
and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint."

Tammy, thank you for the update. Hope you are holding up. I am praying for all of you who are involved in Angela's care to remain strong and comforted. God has blessed her with an amazing circle of friends and family to walk with her through this rocky journey. Be strong all of you. God is looking out for you and he will surround you with comfort and peace beyond your comprehension. Have a blessed day.

In Christ
Pam

Tammy,

Thank you again for the update. I'm always glad when David gets to play with Alex, Christian and Kat! I know you were glad to be able to stay with Angela and she is so blessed to have a lifelong friend to stay at her side.

David, we continue to hold all of you up in our prayers. Remember if you need me, I'm just a phone call away.

Praying always,

Eugene and Debi

Good Afternoon David and Angela,

I hope your day has been pleasant and easy-going. Isaiah 40:31 is one of my favorite verses. It was great to see that Lowry wrote it in her comment. Every word of that verse is so encouraging. I especially like "with wings as eagles", how mighty an eagle is. Just the thought of our Lord giving us wings as eagles is so amazing.

Hope you have a restful night.

Love,

Dear David, Alex,Christian,and Catherine,
We are so pleased that the weekend was good for you all, and you got to spend time together. It sounds as if the kids really enjoyed their dad. We are so thankful Angela is resting and is pain free. The Carpenter House really is a blessing. May God continue to give you peace, and all that you need to care for those beautiful blessings. Our prayers continue to be with you daily. To David and Angela and Family,

You have endured much, but not alone. I can say little that has not been said. You have wonderful friends and have been blessed abundantly with each other. You are in my prayers…that you’ll be comforted with the knowledge of Gods hand in your lives, through this and Forever.

My love to you all.

Good evening Angela and David,

I am praying for you even as I settle in for the night. I pray God will continue to bring you comfort and peace and above all that he will fill your room with his very presence. How awesome a God we serve when he allows us to get a glimpse of who He is. He has allowed those of us who look on to see him at work through this fight. He has caused you both to be able to endure things most of us could not fathom. He has blessed you Angela with a wonderful helpmate in your husband. I have not in my own lifetime seen a man so doting and loving toward a woman. It is so inspiring. His love for you knows no bounds. He loves you like the bible says to; as Christ loves the Church. His care for you is a picture of Christ taking care of his bride. A beautiful site to be sure. May He continue to bless you and keep you and give you strength. You are both in my constant prayers.

With Love
Pam

To Our Precious Angela,

There’s a wave that’s crashing over me, and all I can do is surrender
Whatever You’re doing inside of me
It feels like chaos, but somehow there’s peace
And it’s hard to surrender to what I can’t see, but I’m giving in to something heavenly

This is a song by Sanctus Real - Whatever You’re Doing

Wishing that peace is filling every part of your being! As you prepare for your heavenly place, know that we will all miss you but we all know that your Mom and Dad are ready to greet you and our Loving Father will hold you in the palm of his hand!

Love, peace and HOPE,
Lowry
