Last week was the first time the chemo really took its toll on Angela. She had been feeling really weak and nauseous up until Tuesday. We're talking "no drinking coffee in the same room because I don't like the way it smells" nauseous. However this morning I'm sitting on the couch enjoying a cup of coffee with Angela (mines leaded ...hers unleaded). She is feeling better and stronger now.
While she hasn't discussed it much, I know the up coming MRI is weighing heavy on her mind. Please continue to lift her up in prayer as we approach Monday's MRI.

Angela and David,
Our prayers and thoughts will surely be with you as you prepare for Monday's tests.
Our Father,
We pray for comfort and strength, we're believing for wondrous results and we are thanking you in advance. We also thank you for answered prayer thus far and for your ever-present angels.
In Your Precious Son's name,
Amen
We love you, Eugene & Debi
PS - We'll finally be back in La. by tomorrow night!
Angela,
I know you must be really nervous about the MRI coming up. We have continued to pray for you every day and I will make another trip to the adoration chapel for you before Monday. We can't wait to come see you all again. Maybe we could have a parents' night out too! I'll be in touch soon.
Thanks so much for the updates, David.
Love,
Charlotte
Happy Thursday Evening Angela,
Thanks for the update!! That chemo just wanted to let you know that it was doing the job!!! Glad to hear that you are feeling better.
**CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ALL OF US WHAT TIME THE MRI IS?? I FOR ONE WILL BE PRAYING AT THE EXACT TIME AND I BET MANY OTHERS WILL BE TOO**THANKS
I received a phone call from Orlando today. They wanted and "update" on Angela b.c their prayer group has been asking about you. I said what perfect timing...I told them about Monday and that heaven needed to be FLOODED with prayers. She was going to get busy in telling the prayer group.
From the sounds of it, you continue to be lifted so high in
prayer....there is just no other way to get you to that finish line!!!
YOU GO GIRL!!!
My prayer for you these next few days is this:
"I ask God from the wealth of his glory to give you power through his Spirit to be strong in your inner selves and I pray that Christ will make his home in your hearts through faith" (Eph.3:16-17).
The next few days will be filled "with just a little anxiety" but I am praying hard that you can rest because God has gotten you this far, he will be holding you in his hand on Monday and wiping every tear!!
Love, peace and filled with HOPE,
Lowry

There were three guys talking in the pub. Two of them are talking about the amount of control they have over their wives, while the third remains quiet.
After a while one of the first two turns to the third and says,
"Well, what about you, what sort of control do you have over your wife?"
The third fellow says "I'll tell you. Just the other night my wife came to me on her hands and knees."
The first two guys were amazed. "What happened then?" they asked. "She said, 'get out from under the bed and fight like a man'."
Hey Angela,
Just wanted you to know that the Canadian contingent is praying for a good result on the MRI. We think of you everyday. Good luck on Monday.

Hi Angela,
This is Neil's wife, Jean. Neil told me all about his visit with you and how great you looked. Eight years ago, I was also dealing with the shock and treatment of my cancer and today, I'm a cancer survivor. Knowing that people were holding me deep in prayer was so comforting and strengthening - Jesus living through those closest to me. I just wanted to let you know that you are being held deep in my heart and prayers. It looks like you have a huge circle of those who love you and hold you dear. By the way, you look incredible in the posted pictures. You've aged much better than me!
My heart and prayers,
Jean Carville
TGIF Angela,
It is pretty late here but wanted to let you know that you are lifted in prayer today/tonight and always!!
Try your very best to rest in him...he is taking wonderful care of you....
Love, peace and HOPE,
Lowry

Peace Of Mind
By following the simple advice I heard on a Dr. Phil Show, I have finally found inner peace.
Dr. Phil proclaimed the way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started.
So I looked around my house to see things I started and hadn't finished;
and, before leaving the house this morning I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of Chardonnay, a bottle of Baileys, a bottle of Kahlua, a package of Oreo's, a pot of coffee, the rest of the Cheesecake, some Saltines and a box of Godiva Chocolates.
You have no idea how good I feel.
"Have no anxiety at all but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving make your requests known to God". Philippians 4:6
There are tons of us praying for you...not only for good results but for as little anxiety as humanly possible!!! Rest in him....
Hope your Saturday is full of fun!!
Love, peace and HOPE!!

Summer vacation was over and the teacher asked Little Billy about his family trip. "We visited my grandmother in Minneapolis, Minnesota."
The teacher asked, "Good, can you tell the class how you spell that?"
After careful thought, Little Johnny said, "Actually, we went to Ohio."
angela,
still praying for you. i want you to know that i think of you every day, and i love you. i found this amazing Christian artist, audra lynn, and she sings this really great song called "yet will i sing." i just posted the lyrics on uncle dean's page, and i really want to share them with you too. if you want to hear the song, it's on my website: http://www.myspace.com/lva1982 i typed the lyrics below. love you,
Lesley
let this be the only love song i write
will you be the only love in my life
i asked you to draw me
i said i would run
so though i walk through the valley
yet will i trust
i asked you to call me
i said i would come
so though i go up the mountain
yet will i run
and though my song be taken from me
yet will i sing, yet will i praise you
though the joy be taken from me
yet will i laugh, yet will i shout unto you
though the light be hidden from me
yet will i walk, yet will i run after you
though my heart be slain within me
yet will i trust, yet will i follow you
cause i know whatever you do, you do through the eyes of mercy
oh, and nothing can be added to it, and nothing can be taken away
there is a time for every purpose under the heavens
so though my weeping lasts for the night, i'll have your joy, it comes with the light
though my song be taken from me,
yet will i sing, yet will i praise you
though my heart be slain within me
yet will i trust, yet will i follow after you
Hey Angela,
As you begin your Sunday, I am praying that God fills every bit of your body with the grace and peace he can only give.
Enjoy the day with your family and friends.
Heavenly Father,
As Angela, David, Theresa, family, friends not only await the MRI tomorrow but also the results, I pray that they FEEL your presence and FEEL your peace that surpasses all understanding. Please comfort them during this anxious filled time and provide them the strength they need to endure the "waiting time". I also pray for the doctors, techs and everyone else who will be administering this test. That they see only what you want them to see, the words that you give them to say and the compassion that you can only give to them. It is through suffering that we have hope. Angela has suffered and has risen to beat this beast. Thank you for filling her with hope to carry on.
In your most precious name, I pray and give you thanks and praise.
Amen.
Love, peace and HOPE,
Lowry
