My beautiful bride was my Valentine yesterday. I talked her into going out on a date to Thai Kitchen. The company and food were both exceptional. We really enjoyed ourselves.
Angela continues to improve mentally, physically and spiritually. Your prayers are working! We're touched to know so many of you are praying for us. Everyday someone tells us how Angela was lifted up in prayer by their child, a friend, family member or in church. Again it is hard to express what this truly means to us. THANKS!

Love the photo. I am sooo happy to hear another great progress note and not to mention you got to go out on Valentine's Day...that is alot more that what I got to do!!! YOU GO GIRL..
It is amazing to me to see the Holy Spirit working through you. The progress that you have made just within the last 1 1/2 months..so many praying for you. Not only are adults praying for you but sooo many children. I know for a fact that Ashley, Carolynn and Amanda pray for "Miss Angela" every day in class.
We are so blessed to travel this journey with you and your family.
Your words are what sustain me; they are food to my hungry soul. They bring joy to my sorrowing heart and delight me. How proud I am to bear your name, O Lord. Jeremiah 15:16
Have a great day!!

At the end of their first date, a young man takes his favorite girl home. Emboldened by the night, he decides to try for that important first kiss.
With an air of confidence, he leans with his hand against the wall and, smiling, he says to her, "Darling, how 'bout a goodnight kiss?"
Horrified, she replies, "Are you mad? My parents will see us!"
"Oh come on! Who's gonna see us at this hour?"
"No, please. Can you imagine if we get caught?"
"Oh come on, there's nobody around, they're all sleeping!"
"No way. It's just too risky!"
"Oh please, please, I like you so much!!"
"No, no, and no. I like you too, but I just can't!"
"Oh yes you can. Please?"
"NO, no. I just can't."
"Pleeeeease?..."
Out of the blue, the porch light goes on, and the girl's sister shows up in her pajamas, hair disheveled. In a sleepy voice the sister says: "Dad says to go ahead and give him a kiss. Or I can do it. Or if need be, he'll come down himself and do it. But for crying out loud tell him to take his hand off the intercom button!"
WOW!! What a CHARMING couple! I am SOOOO happy you guys had a "date" to Thai Kitchen. I've never been there I will have to check it out. It's wonderful to hear the good progress report, too!
Well, Angela, if you feel up to company 1 day( I promise not to stay too long!), let me know, my # is 324-3358.
XOXOXO

Happy Sunday Angela!!
I hope your day is abit brighter than here...a very dreary day in Chattanooga...all rain!!
As you are approaching another week of chemo and soon to be scans, I thought of you at church during the responsorial psalm. It goes like this..
Lord, let your mercy be on us as we place our trust in you.
There are so many prayer warriors out here trusting in HIM to totally heal your body from the BEAST and looking for the day when we can celebrate your Christmas miracle!!

A man and his wife were having some problems at home and were giving each other the silent treatment.
Suddenly, the man realized that the next day, he would need his wife to wake him at 5:00 AM for an early morning business flight.
Not wanting to be the first to break the silence (and LOSE), he wrote on a piece of paper, "Please wake me at 5:00 AM." He left it where he knew she would find it.
The next morning, the man woke up, only to discover it was 9:00 AM and he had missed his flight.
Furious, he was about to go and see why his wife hadn't wakened him, when he noticed a piece of paper by the bed. The paper said, "It is 5:00 AM, Wake up."
Angela, You are just a beautiful as you always were. So nice to see that smile again. I know that God has blessed you and your family. He will continue, there are tooooo many of us praying for you. (Oh, can't leave David out, he looks good too, and happy)
Love ya, Brenda S.

Happy President's Day Angela!!!
I like these three day weekends!!! Hope yall had a great day. I do believe it is treatment week..can't think of any good movies but I will try to think of some for the next time. I am praying that this chemo is doing the job that it is meant to do...I am praying that the Divine Physician will do the rest!!
I hope you are stronger than yesterday and that you will be stronger tomorrow. The marathon continues but it appears that the road ahead is free of any bumps!!! The finish line awaits!!

The children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Catholic elementary school for lunch. At the head of the table was a large pile of apples. The nun made a note, and posted on the apple tray: "Take only ONE. God is watching."
Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies. A child had written a note, "Take all you want. God is watching the apples."
David and Angela,
We're still praying from Texas! We are away for a couple of weeks, but you and the children will continue to be on our heart and in our prayers. So happy for all progress being made!
Love,
Eugene & Debi
Angela, You are so beautiful. I am glad things are going good for you. I am still praying for you daily.

Hey you two!! Great that y'all had a nice Valentine's dinner out. Can't tell you what a blessing it was to come by and visit y'all last Wed. Angela, you are truly amazing (you, too, David!).
Dad was on cloud nine Wed. night when he was able to report to the folks at their church that he had seen you both that day and how remarkable you are doing. No slowing down with the prayers for you here!! We all know we are in the presence of a miracle when we visit you. You're doing all the hard work, but our faith is being strengthened as well!!
Nick & I are back home in FL now, trying to get things back in order. UGG!!! We look forward to our next visit there in BR in April. Until then, our arms are around you giving you a big hug when you need it and our prayers are lifting you up each and every day.
All our love,
Dawn & Nick
P.S. - Loved seeing your little SUPERHEROS, too!
Happy Tuesday Angela,
Has you prepare for your treatment tomorrow, I pray that every drip of that chemo kills every single bit of that monster!!! The miracle is coming!!!

A man was caught for speeding and went before the judge. The judge said, "What will you take: 30 days or $30?" The man thought and replied, "I think I'll take the money."

Two young boys walked into a pharmacy one day, picked out a box of tampons and proceeded to the checkout counter.
The man at the counter asked the older boy, "Son, how old are you?"
"Eight," the boy replied.
The man continued, "Do you know what these are used for?"
The boy replied, "Not exactly, but they aren't for me. They're for him. He's my brother. He's four. We saw on TV that if you use these, you would be able to swim and ride a bike. Right now, he can't do either one. "
