Next MRI .. on the 3rd

Angela completed her 4th session of Chemo today. It is currently being administered every other Wednesday. She is scheduled to have an MRI on March the 3rd. We'll know then if this stuff is working. Please pray for good news. Angela is still doing good. As I'm writing this in the kitchen she is visiting with friends. She continues to tolerate the chemo well.

The picture is from a few weeks ago. We watched a neighborhood Mardi Gras parade at my Aunt Lucy's house. Again thanks for your prayers and posts.

Angela,
As always, it was great to see you tonight. You are so amazing to me. The way you are dealing with this......well........as I said before is amazing. I know in my heart that when you get the results of your MRI, that you take on March 3rd,it will be the best news yet. Then, one day (as I promised you) I will help you begin your jouney of sharing your story with others with cancer to give them hope. To give them courage and faith to believe that they too can make it through their battles.
Don't ever forget how much I love you and that I am ALWAYS here for anything that you need (even your weekly manicure/pedicure).

Love you!
tammy (joey too)

P.S. Tell Katherine that her Nanny and Paran and excited about her coming spend this weekend with them.

P.S.
A mother enters her daughter's bedroom and sees a letter on the wall over the bed.
With the worst premonition, she reads it, with trembling hands:"It is with great regret and sorrow that I'm telling you that I eloped
with my new boyfriend. I found real passion and he is so nice, with all his piercing and tattoos and his big motorcycle. But is not only that Mom, I'm pregnant and Ahmed said that we will very happy in his trailer in the woods. He wants to have
many more children with me and that's one of my dreams. I've learned that marijuana
doesn't hurt anyone and he'll be growing it for us and his friends, who are providing us with all the cocaine and ecstasy we may want. In the meantime, we'll pray for the science to
find the AIDS cure, for Ahmed to get better, he deserves it. Don't worry Mom, I'm 15 years old now
and I know how to take care of myself. Someday I'll visit for you to know your grandchildren.
Your daughter,
Judith
PS:
Mom, it's not true. I'm at the neighbor's house. I just wanted to show you that there are worst this in life than my report card that's in the desk drawer. "

Happy Monday Angela,

"Bring The Rain" by Mercy Me

I can count a million times
People asking me how I
Can praise You with all that I've gone through
The question just amazes me
Can circumstances possibly
Change who I forever am in You
Maybe since my life was changed
Long before these rainy days
It's never really ever crossed my mind
To turn my back on you, oh Lord
My only shelter from the storm
But instead I draw closer through these times
So I pray

Bring me joy, bring me peace
Bring the chance to be free
Bring me anything that brings You glory
And I know there'll be days
When this life brings me pain
But if that's what it takes to praise You
Jesus, bring the rain

On behalf of your strength you are gaining each day and time you are given with your family, I am praising him, praising him and praising him.

Love, peace and HOPE,
Lowry

Hi Angela,

Driving today, this song came on the radio. Of course, you came to mind when I was singing along...

CASTING CROWNS LYRICS

"Voice Of Truth"

Oh what I would do to have
The kind of faith it takes to climb out of this boat I'm in
Onto the crashing waves

To step out of my comfort zone
To the realm of the unknown where Jesus is
And He's holding out his hand

But the waves are calling out my name and they laugh at me
Reminding me of all the times I've tried before and failed
The waves they keep on telling me
Time and time again. 'Boy, you'll never win!'
"You'll never win"

But the voice of truth tells me a different story
And the voice of truth says "Do not be afraid!"
And the voice of truth says "This is for My glory"
Out of all the voices calling out to me
I will choose to listen and believe the voice of truth

Oh what I would do to have
The kind of strength it takes to stand before a giant
With just a Sling and a stone
Surrounded by the sound of a thousand warriors
Shaking in their armor
Wishing they'd have had the strength to stand

But the giant's calling out my name and he laughs at me
Reminding me of all the times I've tried before and failed
The giant keeps on telling me
Time and time again "boy, you'll never win!
"You'll never win"

But the stone was just the right size
To put the giant on the ground
And the waves they don't seem so high
From on top of them looking down
I will soar with the wings of eagles
When I stop and listen to the sound of Jesus
Singing over me

I will choose to listen and believe the voice of truth

You have shown you have the strength to stand before the GIANT!!!

Love, peace and HOPE,
Lowry

P.S.
Q: What happens when it rains cats and dogs?
A: You can step in a poodle!

Hi Angela,

"I ask God from the wealth of his glory to give you power through his spirit to be strong in you inner selves and I pray that Christ will make his home in your hearts through faith" (Eph. 3:16-17).

I hope P.A. is warmer than here..never would think that spring is right around the corner.

I hope the chemo you received today attacked those cancer cells like never before in attempt to get the "all clear" on Monday!!!

So, I hope you are feeling well today and full of hope but most of all peace!!!

I know the Divine Physician is taking care of your every need and making you so strong!!!

Love, peace and HOPE,
Lowry

P.S.

Wife: "There's trouble with the car. It has water in the carburetor."
Husband: "Water in the carburetor? That's ridiculous."
Wife: "I tell you the car has water in the carburetor."
Husband: "You don't even know what a carburetor is. Where's the car?"
Wife: "In the swimming pool."

Angela:

Hope you are still getting around ok and that the kids are buzzing about, because I know that is what you would want. I pray that you are right now watching them and laughing at how funny the things they do really are, and of course you know how smart they are! And cute too...like their Mama.

I wish I could do something to brighten your day, but know that you are on the prayer lines in Georgia too.

As a result of reading your blog, I caught up with Honie Duggan...what fun. I haven't talked to her in many many years. Between us and lowry, I think we have the East coast covered with prayers for you!

Take care and gain strength from all your loved ones near and far that are lifting you up in prayer.

I can't wait to celebrate our 40th class reunion with you!!!
