Today was a day of rest for Angela. She slept and relaxed most of the day and enjoyed a few visitors in between. Tonight the nurses brought Angela into the family room for a while so she could visit with her company. David is sleeping at home tonight with the kids because they miss their daddy. Theresa and I are staying with Angela while David gets some much deserved rest.
As always, continue praying for more good days.........

You and your family have been on my mind. I have read the blogs periodically just to see how things are going.
You know, I have been the traveling kind. I have been from coast to coast. Somewhat of a gypsy I guess. Working here, living there. After Katrina, I came into the area around Jan '06. That is when I met my new landlord, Angela. From day one when we first met at the house in Plaquemine, we discussed the usual tenant, landlord stuff. Anyway, I knew that day she was a special person, with a big ole heart. I remember the time I stopped by Fluker's Farm, and you took me on a tour of the place. That was very thoughtful. Of all the dealings I have had with y'all as my landlord for 2 1/2 years, that will not be forgotten. In short, I have been all over the place, and around a lot of people. You and Angela are very special people. I know special people when I see them.
Since I have met you and Angela, I have moved to
Texas and I am now married to a wonderful, big ole hearted lady named Janna. I have told her all about you and Angela and what special people y'all are. Well, we just wanted you to know that you and Angela are in our thoughts and prayers. God bless y'all. Our hearts go out to you and your family.

Dear David, I want to thank you again for the gift of being able to spend time with Angela last night. I came knowing that I probably wouldn't get to see her, but wanted to spend time with you and let you know how much you, Angela , and the kids have been in our prayers, and how special she is to me. I so enjoyed sharing some precious memories of when we worked together, and hearing about how much the kids have grown. I felt blessed when you allowed me to see her the first time...and as I held her hand in mine she said my name. When you asked again later if I'd like to be with her again...those moments were even more precious...and I could'nt help but think that after all she's endured, how amazingly beautiful she still is. I am so sorry I haven't touched base with you over these last months. You have been in my thoughts and prayers daily! Dawn gave me your website last week. I have been keeping up daily. Sounds as though you have been having some good days!
