Many of you have asked about visiting Angela. I wish I could give you a better answer, but visiting with her right now is just not possible. Since we arrived this past Tuesday, Angela has been in a fairly rapid state of decline. She is not eating or drinking. She becomes agitated easily. If one can find anything positive out of this situation, the wonderful hospice care staff has managed to get her pain for the most part under control; this is something we were not able to do at home. This place has been a blessing. The staff is taking very good care of her.
While a visit with Angela is not possible at this time, you may visit with me or other family and friends in the family area.

It must be hard for you post that. It must be very hard to watch such a sad thing happen to your wife. I am so sorry you are having to go through all of this. I am praying though. Keep the faith as difficult as it is to watch someone you love go through this, in spite of it all, keep the faith. God has a plan. I am thinking of you often and praying for Angela all the time. Be strong David. Your words sound much more relaxed now that you have some help. That is truly a blessing.

I have no words tonight except...God Bless all of you...as much as it is getting harder to read these posts, it does not even come close to you have to writing them and witnessing Angela in the final stages of her life. Praying for you, David as we get started on our day. I send my life's verse again as a reminder.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not to your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths. Prov 3:5-6
I know He must seem to be so far away right now. But as I walk with you at times down this path, I see His hand at work in the form of family and friends and in precious Mrs. Sylvia, (nurse's aide). My prayer for you today, is that you can feel His presence more than you have ever felt it, that you can feel His touch. I've observed as Angela seems to be whispering to Him and He is reassuring her of His presence.
We love you with all our hearts.

May you experience the shikinah glory of our Lord today. May you truly feel him with you in Angela's room as you sit with her. May his angels surround you and give you comfort. I pray that as the days pass that Angela will be taken into the presence of her King peacefully and that the evidence of seeing him will be reflected on her face so that you might know that she is with Him. We are praying so hard for you this morning. I know that your saddness is beyond description. On Dec 16,1963 God gifted the world with this wonderful being. Soon it will be time for her to return. We are all so thankful that she included us, there was so much to enjoy.

I am so sorry that you have to endure the pain of losing your baby sister. Words can't even begin to express my saddness for you and your family. Why we can't even begin to imagine the understanding of this, God is with you and your family and will see you through this time. He is holding you and your family in the palm of His Hands. I wish I had words for you to make the pain go away, but all I can do pray and pray that you will feel God's love. God will give you the strength, just trust in Him.

Thanks John Michael for the update...not exactly sure how the night went but know every time I woke up, I prayed not only for Angela but for all who are by her side during these final days!!

Once again our prayers are that Angela have the most comfortable day possible and that David finds the strenght that he needs to make the minutes & hours go by. I am also praying for those of you that have been by Angela's side for as long as I can remember. I hope today has brought you some peace and rest. You have both been on my mind, as well as your Mama. I am sure she is looking down and so approving of all that you are doing for Angela. We all know that this is one of those things that can not be explained. I know that heaven is so much better than earth, and I am glad that Angela will soon leave her body here.. along with the hurt, and be a renewed person with God. WITH GOD! How awesome is that? She will know only what we all dream and think about. SHE WILL KNOW IT FIRSTHAND! I am sure the angels in heaven will greet her with open arms, all wanting to hug her first! :)

She will be in the Presence of Him...Jesus our Lord and we will all celebrate for her because she will have the awesome experience of seeing His face. I can only imagine.... Just like the song says:

Angela Carville Fluker will not have to imagine what it will be like. She will know and the rest of us can only imagine. Praise to the God who adores us enough to take us into his presence and let us be with him. No more pain, no more crying, no more illness, no more of any of the earthly things that trip us up. She is going to perfected in a new body and with Jesus. WOW! How wonderful that will be!!!!!! God Bless you and keep you. May his face shine upon you and give you peace. Stay strong! God will be with you through it all.

David and Angela, I just found out today and I am floored. I hope the best for you two and miss you both. We all work our lives away and only take note of whats important in life when something traggic as this happens. I will send a few pics that i have and hope it makes a smile or two. I hope today is restful for you David. Give Angela a little kiss on the cheek for Jacques. He still keeps her in his daily prayers and I told him I would ask you for him.
